"Originally bought a basic tap from another major retailer, only to discover on close inspection it was finished in chrome-painted plastic. So I swapped it for this one, all metal, at the same price. An added bonus was that the Screwfix one came with flexihose connectors, instead of the usual copper tails that never fit your pipework. I usually have to buy the flexible hoses separately, so that was a saving. Tap was easy to fit and looks great."
"Very happy with the tap, It looks very well made with a good finish. Fitted it myself with no problems at all. love the 1/4 turn action... no more stiff tap after being turned off to tight. Only time will tell on how long it lasts but 12 months warranty but we have a Screwfix counter across town.. a very good price as well."
"- worked great for my gravity fed systems - Looks great - In real life it is much bigger then in photo! - avoid with satin finish sink (as looks clash) - I agree with others, there are two minor issues. When turning on tap, water diffuser can splash a few droplets out. Second issue, due to height of tap, it splashes water when it hits the sink bowl. - This problem has gone away (subconciously), as we open the tap at the right position to avoid these problems."
"Seemed like a good tap for the money being solid with decent finish but beware. Spec says 350mm x 8mm bore flex hoses but bore min is 6mm at ends and the tap has a 50mm recess so hose effective length only 300mm. Too short for me."
"This tap would be good value if it wasn't for the very poor flow, the description says "Built-In Aerator" but there is no aerator just a cheap plastic insert in the spout, the water comes out uneven & splashes everywhere making a mess."
"The price for this tap is enough to spend although aesthetically it isn't the best looking tap in the world. The instructions images differ from the actual tap and the 2 coloured buttons that determine the hot and cold sit very loosely in the holes, or are the 2 small washers supposed to fit on these buttons to ensure a snug fit? If they are then I would like to see the individual that can manage to put them on. The worst part about this tap is the flow or should I say the splurt, 4 or 5 jets come out of the tap which can only be stopped by running ones finger underneath, not great when its scalding hot water but not great anyway as the water then squirts all over the sink. Used a plumber to install so am stuck with this monstrosity as I don't think Screwfix will pay for the plumber to dismantle and then refix!"
