"I used this to lift a stubborn manhole cover that had been in place for decades. The 4 feet of forged steel leverage made the job simple and did no damage to the manhole cover. It was also useful for dragging the cover back into place.
I've found both ends of the tool are useful for different applications, such as pulling 6" nails or lifting heavy loads.
I'd recommend keeping the cardboard end caps from the supplied packaging as the chisel blades are machined sharp."
"Great wrecking bar just what I needed to remove some heavy rocks sunk into garden. Would of took ages with a spade but the bar gave me great leverage and they were out in minutes. Solid construction will last a lifetime. Staff very helpful instore as always."
"Had to shift a heavy lathe. This bars design and strength was perfect for getting under the edge and lifting it enough to get some wood skids under and then inch it in to position despite restricted space."
"Not just a bar, thought has gone into the shape and angles of this one. Obviously it is heavy and is awkward in a tight space. Will be useful when I do vehicle maintenance work too, as it will be strong enough when levering at suspension components etc. I expect it to last a lifetime."
"Huge slabs of stone flooring to move , tried prizing with normal crow, hard work, got the gorilla 48 inch and as soon as I held it I new it was a thing of pure quality, trust me just go to Screwfix ask to see one and you will say to yourself that reviewer was so right, makes light work of the hardest of jobs, its very well engineered just a hint of spring /flex in shaft and the angles have been well thought out, Hard to think of being so impressed with a crow bar and its also made in UK ."
"Needed a decent crowbar to get old fence posts out of the ground so I could put replacement posts in. I bought this and even with 15 stone bouncing on it, it didn't bend - it just broke the concrete as needed and let me get on with the job.
Solid, long enough to work (Archimedes etc) and value for money!"
