"I had this flange and a Salamander flange in my hand and this one is far better. It is easily adjustable so that the horizontal (vent) outlet points exactly where you want it. The pump outlet is on the top. Best to solder onto the horizontal outlet as it is close to the top of the cylinder. Generally need this 1" flange for new cylinders but there is a 3/4" one available. Can't comment on reliability as only just fitted."
"Excellent product which functions well and is simple to install (as long as you can undo the existing hot water feed connection on the top of the H.W. Cylinder), very useful to be able to rotate the flange body to orientate the spigot for connection to existing hot water feed pipework, although the spigot would benefit from being slightly longer as the recommended compression coupling ends up very close to the cylinder. A comparable price to Surrey Flange which is the alternative but cannot be orientated."
"This is my preferred method for providing an air free supply to a shower pump or general pump. Easy and quick to fit, takes hot water from the top rather than some way down the side of the cylinder (essex flange) and the side branch to vent/normal taps is easy to direct any way round. 2 sizes depending on your cylinder - 3/4" or 1""
