Ideal for small jobs

" This is NOT a professional tool, it's a hobbyist's tool, although I do use it professionally. I bought this when the deal was a circular saw and this for £99.00 so I basically got this for £45.00 and that's what it should be priced at. On mine I didn't need to set it up i.e. check for square and adjust as necessary. I generally make a few cuts to see how accurate it is first then tweak if required, it does mention this in the instructions.
The cutting disc is good and it cuts wood clean with a few splinters to sand or break off at the end of the cut. I did notice the disc vibrates slightly but it didn't make a difference to the accuracy of the cut, in fact I was pleasantly surprised. The set angles like 10,15,22.5 and 45deg click into place nicely and there is a small plastic lever to lock it down do it doesn't move, as a previous reviewer mentioned the clamp is strong but if using on a decorative wood use a small block of waste so it doesn't mark it.
What I like about this tool is its light and portable it saves me lugging a larger drop saw around for smaller jobs like simple decking, making arches and small decorative features in say a garden. Small skirting - 4" maybe 5" at a push or finishing off laminate flooring, think the beading round the edge.
I've just made a bird table for a customer and a new archway using this saw, if I can edit this review I'll add a pic or two.
If you expect very accurate Pro standard, your deluded, and you need to ask advice from a professional and as the ald adage goes 'you get what you pay for' so, when you need accurate cuts day in day out Makita, Dewalt Metabo and Hitachi are the only realistic options but for that you must pay.
Otherwise buy this one and with the money you save, buy a few tubes of caulk and go and treat ya partner to a slap up meal at KFC hahaha! "

A bit Mickey Mouse

" Got this as part of a package with their circular saw, so pretty cheap, and it just about cuts wood..... However, its fairly wobbly, so cutting straight lines requires concentration, and the clamp can only be used on the left because the motor housing hits it if used on the right - a daft design flaw. I would save your money for a better brand. "

" I have been using this saw for a few weeks and its does very poor cuts. the hinges that hold the swivel drop saw are very loose so the you never get a true 45 or 90 degree angle which becomes very frustrating when cutting skirting boards mitres.save yourself some hassle and buy a better brand. I changed it for a bosch and its been fantastic. "
