"Excellent value saw, small enough for a tool box and good enough for precision cuts."

"this floorboard saw is an excellent addition to the tool box don't only use it for floorboards, its clean cut allows you to cut flush to a surface without risk of damaging that surface."

"i have had one of these saws before and found it makes a nice neat cut to the floorboards.i have had other saws and have found the rounded nose to be next to useless on all of them.this saw is cheaper than others but is of just as good quality if not better."

Not for floorboards

"I have had two of these saws (both still in use), but I cannot recommend them for use on floor-boards. The design intention is that you use the nose of the saw (inverted) to cut into the floor-board, but there's no control, and the blade whips too much. As a general purpose backless cross-cut saw it is a fine tool. For floor-boards give me a 'real' floor-board saw (like a tenon saw with a convex blade)."

"I purchased this over the Stanley version based on the review of that item, i didnt have a problem with the sharpness but to use the "nose" cut i found the grip poor and the blade to bendy (just like the Stanley) so I would save your money and buy this one!"

Not fit for purpose

"As a small saw that will fit in the toolbox, this is an ok product but is more expensive than other makes of the same quality. For floorboards, it is next to useless and the blade is far too flimsy."

As before NOT for floor boards
1 Feb 2013

"Firstly the nose end is not fine enought to start off into the board it will only drag one way! (would take far too long for any traditional floor board) Basically went back to using grinder with wood blade!! Secondly the blade isn't of very good quality for the price, the only plus side is that it will get used as the main cutting edge is quite fine and it will cut close in small places. Overall it isn't being used much at all for the job it was intended and for the price could have got a decent small Bahco of better quality. VERY dissapointed at least it has taught me to stick with better brands of which quality and design comes first!!"
