"I'm mainly doing this review to address the complaint raised by a previous reviewer... namely that the magnet wasn't strong enough.
Well, they seem to be missing the point. The magnet is designed to hold the driver bit in place, which it performs perfectly well. If a tool is needed which is able to also hold any screws onto the end of the bit, you should be looking for a different type of extension holder, for example the type with a sliding sleeve.
Performance-wise, this tool is fairly low spec but is more than up to doing everyday medium-duty screw-driving & similar tasks. I wouldn't trust it not to shear off at the ends, though, if used for tougher jobs using an impact driver on bolt & socket heads, for example.
Perfectly good as a budget tool, though I'd like to see it a bit cheaper than the current £6.59."
"300mm NON magnetic extension as will hold a paperclip (just) but will not even hold a 16mm screw. good for adjusting wall units but not alot else. i did exchange it but the new one just the same, cheap but hardly magnetic."
