Review 1 for Swann ADS-450 SwannSmart Wi-Fi Network Camera with Secure Cloud Storage
"I cant fault this camera. It is easy to set up, connects to wireless network no problem. Image quality is pretty good. The cloud storage feature is well worth the money. You get an email almost immediately after movement is detected and can view what happened on line really easily. For the money this is a really good package."

Review 2 for Swann ADS-450 SwannSmart Wi-Fi Network Camera with Secure Cloud Storage
"Purchased to keep an eye on my property whilst away, set up indoors in the lounge and attached to ceiling with supplied bracket and fixings. Easy set up with iPhone and app, good instructions but beware of some limitations as follows:
1. Livetime viewing is free from iPhone or computer and you can also record footage from the camera directly to your phone while you're viewing it. HOWEVER, movement notifications to your phone and auto-recording when movement is detected is a paid for subscription service run from a firm in the US called Seedonk and this costs around £3.60 per month per camera. You don't have to have this (and you get a free 30 day trial with the camera) but you will not get movement alerts or automatic remote recording unless you have the subscription to the service. I did subscribe and have been pleased - easy to set up using PayPal and an automatic recurring payment taken each month.
2. The remote record feature via subscription acutally records a series of stills from the camera, NOT video. When you record yourself directly to your phone while viewing, this IS recorded as video. Something to be aware of.
Image and sound quality is good (particularly if you have a decent wi-fi connection in the house and can increase the picture quality settings and frame rate to maximum).
My first camera failed after 3-4 months and would no longer connect to the internet but I put this down to dodgy electrics in my area and constant power-cuts / spikes at the house. The camera was replaced by Swann for a brand new one without quibble and I now have this connected to a power-surge protected extension lead which I am hoping will prevent any further problems of this kind.
All in all a great little camera with good sound and picture quality and great remote access through your phone - just be mindful of the limitations outlined above which weren't entirely clear to me when I purchased the camera. A small price to pay for peace of mind and recommended. Could work out expensive if you plan to have any more than 1 or 2 of these cameras at your house and a hard-drive based recording system would be the way to go in this case or if you required cameras capable of being mounted outdoors (this unit isn't up to outdoor use).
Night vision on the camera is also good and suitable for a few metres no problem - my lounge is an average size and I get good coverage in total darkness.
