"We recently fitted this radiator in the Bathroom, it looks stunning, output great, when the radiator arrived the paint had come off very slightly on the top, rang the suppliers who sent a touch up paint and the radiator was perfect, love this rad so much, am trying to persuade hubby to install one in the bedroom. Very Very pleased with the radiator"

Perfect between 2 Large Windws

"As it's so heavy it needed to be well packed and it certainly was, so it arrived in perfect condition. It looks symetrical but had a sticker on one end saying "top" otherwise no instructions with it. Adequate coach screws and plugs to fix the 4 brackets and take the weight but a further 4 small screws and plugs are needed to stop the brackets rotating under load. It looks good and performs well but there is a slight irregularity in the spacing between the vertical square tubes. They are fairly close together so any variation sticks out like a sore thumb. This doesn't bother me as it makes a talking point. Perhaps it was designed this way as after all it is a "Designer" radiator. Too early to judge reliability hence average rating."

Heavy but good

"Like the other reviewer I was surprised by weight - both for handling and fixing. Need 2 people to move package. Well packed and all fixings included. Essential to fix this to a solid wall or to fit new studs and dwangs. However excellent looking and good performance. Front is 128mm from wall."

Top quality but heavy.

"This radiator weighs around 45 kg as supplied and this could rise by another 10kg when full of water. The fitting kit was supplied with half the bolts and wall plugs. No fitting instructions were supplied.
It is worth serious consideration before fitting to plasterboard walls due to the extreme weight.
It was excellently packaged and worth the cost for the results.

Good Rads

"I bought 3 of these and they look fantastic. Good output considerring the price and compared to other designer rad suppliers. The depth is a little bit on the large side but fitted ok where I wanted them. Very heavy rads, so requires being fitted well onto brick walls. Decent fixings are supplied with them."

Would not buy! Pity
28 Apr 2010

"As mentioned by other reviewers well packed and very heavy shy of 45kg.
The first one arrived and the two outer columns were bent slightly inwards.
and consequently they would not heat up!!
I reported this to Screwfix and they arranged for the radiator company ( 3rd party) to send another which they promptly and duly did.
The second one all looked symetrical unlike the first one but the fourth column would not heat at all! Nightmare!
As we had paid plumber to change position of pipework and fit two defective rads we decided to give the company a third chance and had a different rad in similar size which works perfectly.
Very disappointed as was a lovely looking radiator!
Company reimbursed plumbers fees (£80) for two refits and Screwfix gave £30 voucher as goodwill gesture.
