Customer Reviews for Protect A1 Roofing Underlay 1 x 15m
"I couldn't believe the tiny weight of a full roll and wondered if this would be flimsy. Not a chance - it's tough, strong, clean and so easy to handle. In comparison bitumen felt is like something out of the stone age! Another positive is that extreme cold and heat won't make this felt deteriorate so I'm looking forward to many years of dry shed, garage etc."
"Great product for using as underlay for small projects as a double protection for underside of roofing felt on sheds etc. when the roofing felt begins to perish the A1 underlay offers protection until the topside felt is replaced. Tip: Always keep an eye on perishable topside felt for signs of wear and tear but with the comfort of knowing there is the added protection of the A1 until you can get round to replacing the top layer of felt. Also used widely in commercial housing projects for roofs instead of felt."
"There are some very good & very expensive new technology roof membranes around. All of them need to be fixed without stapling. Just try that with a typical labourer. So I reckon this is a top choice for smaller roofs and garden rooms or offices. Always double up with a roof leak prevention paint on warm roofs made with OSB cladding as belt & braces leak protection."
"Very disappointed with the product, advertised as 15m on the product and i needed 6 pieces at 2.4m which is 14.4m.Cut each 2.4 piece and fixed but on the last piece i only had 2.2m left not enought to finish the job,I should have had 600mm over which means the roll was only 14.2m long. Please get measurements right!"
