"isolation valves ive been usaing them for the past 15 years but the screwfix isolation valervs have been very good to work with reliable the olives are very good if you over tighten them they still hold very good"
"When fitting new bathroom, drained the system, cut through pipes to remove old toilet, basin, shower, etc and fitted these so I could fill up the system to get water in the rest of the house while I worked on the bathroom.
These are good little valves, didn't have any problem with leaks or whatever and at 40% cheaper than DIY sheds I could afford to fit them everywhere so that new shower, toilet, basin can all be individually isolated in future!"
"I had bought a single valve then realised I needed a couple more. Rather than pay for three I thought an extra 50p for ten made more sense!
Installed just fine and no leaks. Worth remembering that this version does not have any indication of on or off other than the position of the screw slot. Then again at under a quid each you can't complain."
"I always buy a pack of 10 for each big job, meaning i have hundreds of these in the van, great when you need an olive or a nut or even an isolation valve, I used on plastic pipe last week on a run from shower pump, no problem, my only grumble is that they don't do 22mm packs of 10, with the same value for money."
