"I will only ever use these for DIY jobs. I used them in soft wood and they cut through very well. The adjustable depth is a good idea. I have no complaints and they have done what i have asked of them. There is no need to mark them any less than 5 star."
"I have just used the #8 bit from the set to pilot and countersink about 50 holes in 3/4"MDF with a very knotted 2x4 underneath. The bits work perfectly. Sharp bits, accurate countersink, and it comes in a nice soft case to keep bits together. Adjustable drill bit lengths are a good feature.
My only slight gripe is that the bits are not 100% dead centre if used in a Hex adaper drill, but as long as you are not ham fisted, you will not break a bit."
"Brilliant time saver!!! Bought this morning used when i got home. Have only used the no. 6 so far. Being picky about them the clearance hole is a fraction large so the screw head is dragged in on tightening up, however using less of the countersink than normal cures this easily. Overall such a good thing to have in the drill box, also being hex it will pop in the bit holder so could use one drill, but saves so much faffing around with umpteen bits, GET SOME!"
The cutting edge on the countersink isn't sharp so they don't countersink as expected. With force they'll countersink but if you're not careful you'll snap the pilot drill. Shouldn't really need to apply force or excess pressure behind the drill though as they should cut themselves as my very old SF version did that i wore out over many years of use.
Would have returned them but needed to finish the job so had to be endured then put in the bin.
