"A fine wire brush did the job well, as we did not want anything too abrasive. The downsize of this was that the brush wore down quickly and we needed 3 to complete the job. Having said that the result was perfect and you cannot ask any more than that"
"i had previously bought other types of wire brush attachments and thought i would give this one a try, crimped wire one is better on getting a moth finishing when tackling rust and heavy paint on mainly metal surfaces done the job really well of course it will not last forever it you have large areas to clean the brush cup good for open spaces you can't get into corners with this a good all round attachment to go with the wheel type as well there will be nothing you can't clean"
"This is ideal for stripping paint off soft aluminium. I can do a panel or two of the Land Rover before the wire on the brush flies off from metal fatigue. Always use goggles. It works well on the angle grinder and no too much vibration."
"Cant say how long a wire brush spinning at 12,500 rpm is expected to last. This brush did last about 45min to an hour constant use. It was used to remove masonry paint or similar on concrete steps. It was not quick at removing the paint, just slow and steady. The paint was many levels thick easily 3 or more layers
I think its OK for a budget brand buy a few and return the unused if its a large job"
"Although I agree with the other comments on here, the item is fair for the price considering it is a budget brand. It didn't last long, and I was only rubbing car panels down. I found the Draper Expert 52637 to be excellent!!"
"Designed for angle grinders but the vibration of this means two hands are essential. Didn't last more than a couple of hours light use. Fell apart firing out small pieces of wire that stick in your clothes or any bare skin."
