Pipe turns a corner

"Bought this to phase out modern, faded depressing soil pipe on my 50s block. First off its expensive..VERY expensive, spending the money on the same items at x3 price like pulling teeth..push fit is pricey as it is but this stuff..BUT I wanted to get what I wanted first time, I do notice original cast soil as an important and disappearing feature, lets at least get the LOOK back! I also like the fact you can reconfigure it as a pose to solvent which just gets binned.
Even with the spray mind the joints are damned tight, a workout to get purchase enough to take apart-maybe because its cold? but as with all push fit you can re do it as much as you like and get it just right. Be warned the decorative collars need consideration on a tight job they add 35mm length on every joint! It would be good if they could make a generic cover for odd junctions or several "problem solvers? you can put over the modern bits when you cant fit the usual snap on one even if you have to make it good with silicon... I also drew the line at buying the "plain pipe", again pricey and for what? a bit of grainy texture?? standard black soil is longer and does fine and you dont need a coupler at £17 to join lengths as you can just snap a decorative collar over the end joint on ordinary black soil. I also returned the branch with bosses (totally spoils the effect) and the 90 access, the access DOUBLES the price of a standard 90 and again the cap looks modern, I figure it theres an issue..I'll just heave it apart. Havent christened it yet , hoping theres no leaks as everyone said use solvent weld but as I said to a mate..we all rely on push fit for most important joint.. THE ONE ON THE BOG and it seems to work there!
