"Rarely does one come across a product that is all form and almost no function. This is one of those products, hence the title of "masterpiece". It manages to achieve this largely because as a blanking plate, it has virtually no function whatsoever. It simply covers a hole.
One of the most appealing features is its squareness. The shape is interrupted only by two fixing holes, both circular to contrast sharply with the square outline. The fixing holes align perfectly with standard back box threads and the two screws included with the plate make fitting a breeze.
The plate quietly challenges one to know what might lie behind it. Only those with a screwdriver are likely to find out.
Oh, and it's really low cost, rigid and easy to machine. It fails to score well on the features section as it really doesn't have many features. It's still a good blanking plate though."
"Reasonable quality, does the job nicely. Noticed that this does not have curved corners as the patress onto which I mounted it does, but not a problem for this particular project (just a temporary cover)."
