"I needed to rewire my camper van this kit was enougth to not only complete wire for my van also spare for when connecting to campe site provision excellant price for amount of kit supplied well worth the money"
"This is a great kit for connecting a TV in a second room to the existing TV ariel. Everything you need is in the kit, cable, connectors, cable pins, splitter etc. and I had the second TV up and running in no time. The kit contains 25 metres of cable which should be more than enough for most houses and I still have plenty left. All in all I am delighted with my purchase which was perfect for the job I had and the price of the kit also means it was great value for money. I would thoroughly recommend this kit for anyone wishing to add a second TV to their existing ariel."
"Cable is spit through thin and the end connections are plastic and poorly made. The actual centre core of the cable is snap thin.
This kit is probably only of use to check if you have a signal. If you want a proper strong reliable signal transferred from your aerial, then get something a bit more heavy duty. Pay the extra money for proper coax cable and buy metal fittings.
"I'm utterly amazed at the number of good reviews for this. However I've noticed the PDF instructions show the decent old style coax plugs which differ from what you get! I suspect they've changed the pack contents which might account for the other good reviews.
Anyway - what I got is of such poor quality it's unusable.
Absolute rubbish - will have to go out and buy separate bits tomorrow to finish the job.
"waste of money. fittings so poor quality. the securing screw doesn't even hold the micro thin copper cable in the connector. you pay for what you get, and having thrown this in the bin will go and pay more money for better quality"
"Used this kit for extending a existing TV aerial 6m across a room. After plugging into the Y adapter once (yes once) one whole side of the Y adapter came away in my hand. What started out as a very good (strength and quality) digital TV signal now only about a third of the channels work. I can only assume that the relatively thin cable attenuates the signal a lot. Lets face it its only UHF or VHF frequencies, it shouldn't be difficult to carry a signal 6 metres. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid...er did i mention Avoid?"
"The cable is so thin and mine was rotten, the braided strands had turned to copper dust leaving just the thin foil for the ground. Annoyed as I had spent 2 hours fitting the cable and will have to redo it."
"This is a very cheaply made product. The cable is up to standard, if a little thin, but the fittings quite literally fell apart in my hands. They are very poorly manufactured. The product came with a one year guarantee but rather than bother to return it, I made use of the cable and binned everything else. If you are interested in quality DO NOT buy this product."
"Bought this as a cheap quick fix for a customer and was very disappointed. The quality of the splitter, surface socket and coupler is OK, but the cable and plugs are very poor - I've never seen such thin coax with such a tiny core! Obviously at this price I wasn't expecting PF-100, but I expected it to be usable, and of a standard size. Not so - it's so thin that standard (metal) plugs are a real hassle to fit, and cutting through the dielectric insulation needed wire strippers as a Stanley knife cut straight through the core.
Gave up in the end and bought some proper coax; buy cheap, buy twice - you live and learn, eh?
"I bought this as it was a good price but the coax connection was very poorly designed, and when I checked the instructions, they referred to a different connector, not the one in the kit, so absolutly no help at all."
