"A good quality product ready to use and well packed. I have only tried these on a wood floor so can't comment on the grip to other types of floors."

They grip carpets!
7 Oct 2013
By DeeAyeWhy

"They grip carpets - what more do you want?
I prefer these to the ones we already have in our house; some other brands seem to often have the nails right next to the gripper spikes, so when nailing the grippers down you flatten them in the process. These have the nails neatly in between the spikes.
Certainly a lot cheaper to buy these and to do it yourself rather than getting the carpet fitters to do it for you. Easy money."

Gripping stuff

"Needed several to replace old gripper rods during a refurb, certainly didn't want a box of 100 as in most places, Screwfix win again with split quantities.......and only 2 left over. Perfect."

It's carpet gripper...
31 May 2013
By RJF30
, Horsham
"... And not surprisingly it grips carpet. I don't know what the other 2 reviews were expecting but quality it is not, however it does it's job. Perhaps a little pricey but if you are doing more than 1 room get 100 for £36 or whatever it is which is far more economical."

You pays for what you get
5 Mar 2013
By SEC1

"Wood was of poor quality as full of splinters and required sanding before handling (adding to the labour cost and making more expensive grippers worth buying); not as good quality as had bought in past; though overall will probably do the job and fixing 'nails' were masonry type."
