"Had to fit a new cheap WC (you know, one of those £50 all in mass produced not top quality ones) to an cast iron soil pipe, internal diameter a bit questionably. So thought I buy one of the better quality pan connectors "MCAlpine", wasn't sure if this off-set bend was enough so bought both the 20 and 40mm versions. Bit of a squeeze getting it into the cast iron...so that was a good seal but against the cheap pans spigot was a no no. In the end used another brand (cheaper) and put these two connectors in van for the next job."

Review 5 for McAlpine MACFIT WC 20mm Offset Pan Connector
"The ridges increase in diameter, and I was only able to get two of the six ridges into the outlet pipe, which meant cutting 5.5cm off the outlet pie. The pan end was also difficult to fit it just kept flipping off. Maybe the outlet on the toilet was too short. Good strong product, but not very flexible."
