"this croydex shower rail was to replace a croydex rail I bought ten years ago. The one I replaced was still ok but dipped on the long rail were it had to be joined, this new one doen't have to be joined so looks much better, quick to fix as the original holes in the tiles were in the same place as the new fittings. Very good value for money"
"This was very easy to install, looks good and does the job perfectly, not the cheapest but good quality! I have given 5 star for reliability, have not had it long to judge but from the quality I don't expect problems."
"Very light - easy to cut to size. Was used over a standard bath 1700mm X 750mm but needed to cut down both on length and width so could easily be used on larger sizes. I was looking for a rail that would bend around but have support for the bend - this is ideal and seems to be well up to the job."
"This product is good for the price and relatively easy to install. There are many comparable products that cost more money for little added value. Instructions are fairly clear and concise, but you have to take care as they cover many different models. Two things that could be improved are: a) The runners and hooks look a little fragile and could easily break if used too roughly. b) The instructions clearly state that the rail has a pre-assembled dust cover. THIS MODEL DOES NOT, despite the instructions saying it does. Having said that it works well and is good value for money."
"This shower rail was fairly simple to install and does the job. The quality of the finish is reasonable although you may want to file off the burrs at the end of the aluminium components.
The dropped ratings were for the fact that the joins where the bend is placed, there is a slight gap which stands out like sore thumb and the curtain attachments don't run very smoothly. But to put this into perspective, the rail serves it's purpose, doesn't look out of place in a smart bathroom and is excellent value for money.
Ultimately, I would buy this product again if I needed a replacement."
"Fiddely to install, spirit jevel, pencil, extra hands required to hold in place, up steps and over bath, but worth the care. looks good and stable. Ceiling Hanger requires proper Hollow Wall Anchor if ceiling is plasterboard, which i would think most are."
"Definitely a 2 person job, difficult to assemble by yourself. instructions could be much clearer. As other user said no mention of grub screw in instructions. Major flaw in the design is the ceiling support - the ceiling rod- rail connection kept coming away, could be designed better."
