"Excellent value neat clamps. Work perfectly for the job needed. I will be getting some more if the larger ones as they are very handy and a bargain."

Perfect for the job

"I bought 3 pairs of these to secure the fillets in a new staircase handrail to avoid using pins.
They could have been made for the job, being an absolutely perfect snug fit on the Richard Burbidge light pine handrail, snapping into place in seconds and without marking the timber surface.
Fantastic value and I cannot think of a better solution for this particular job."

"I bought a pair of these clamps a few months back and I have to say, for their price, they are great value. They are comfortable to use and the grip is pretty decent although I would recommend something stronger like a G-clamp or spring clamp if you're using a router or precision cutting, as they don't always hold the work firmly."

Reasonable grip

"I have pairs of 4", 6" and 8" grips, (I seem to recall buying a pack) and they're ok.
Plus points are with a couple you can hold things down or together well, they don't mark the wood so you don't have to find scraps to protect the face and you can put them on and off with one hand.
On the downside the grip isn't all that strong unless they're near their maximum opening and after about two years of DIY use (of the original 6) one is broken and two more have ends that are on the way out.
After more than 40 years my grandfather's Irwin Record clamps are still strong, tight and perfect but they're much more expensive and hassle to use so I think these grips have their place. I probably will buy more when they finally give up."
