"Superb - you won't use anything else after the latest Makita Li-Ion cordless tools. Exceedingly light, powerful and robust, clearly designed by somebody who knows what people want. And the price is worth paying for this kit too."
"I can't recommend these drills enough. They are light and powerful and as always with Makita they are reliable. I have a Bosch professional drill and Impact driver too and compared to the li-ions they are heavy. I am really impressed with the charger too, 22 minutes and they are charged. :)"
"When I first opened the box and saw the size of the combi drill, i thought screwfix had made a mistake and supplied two drill drivers.
Then I saw the hammer switch and was suprised by the weight and size. This combi drill is the best and smallest hammer drill I have owned, with others twice the size no-where near as powerfull.
Typical makita build quality. £300 is a lot, but after using them everyday without fail, the price is a drop in the ocean. Charge in under 20mins and battery's last for ages. Carry case is also very good with space for extra bits/raw plugs etc.
Come with belt clips which is also handy. the light on the drill is also a bonus, you dont realise how useful it is until you use it."
"Had this a few weeks now, and only just needed to charge the combi after using almost using daily. Large carry case with compartments in the lid for screws extra. For the work I do I only need one size drill bit and because of the large size of the case it means that the combi has the drill bit in it and the drill/driver has a screw attachment in it, saves time, just pick it up drill the holes and then grab the next to screw in. Would definitely recommend this item."
