Worst Masonry Drills Ever
16 May 2011
By Builderbridge

"Needing to fix timber battens to the gable wall of a stone house, I decided to use Tapcon screws, and therefore bought 2 tapcon drillbits to drill the holes. Normally when I buy masonry drillbits they last for months, wearing the drill shank down before the hardened tip. These completely rubbish drills lasted 20 holes. In my opinion they are not fit for purpose and shouldn't be sold. I read the other review that told a similar tale, but didn't actually believe they could be as bad as the guy said. Believe me they are."

"Used the drill bit to drill holes into concrete, it only lasted for 9 holes that equates to £1.00 per hole, very dissapointing."
