"I have had this drill for 6 months, I use it mainly for 8/10/12mm through 9" cavity walls. Also concrete (mainly stone) type walls. If any one remembers early 1900's blue centre engineering bricks (very hard) was a doddle, even with a cheap set of masonry chisels from Aldi through the same bricks it made a hot knife through butter seem like hard work. Expensive but worth every penny. If using up ladders get a buckle strap from Halfords as a shoulder carrier, it makes life easier. Cat. code: 249359-0"

Review 2 for Bosch GBH 36VFLI 4.5kg 2.6Ah Li-Ion Cordless SDS Plus Hammer Drill 36V
"If buying this tool MAKE SURE YOU REGISTER THE ONLINE GUARANTEE within 4 weeks of purchase, otherwise you invalidate the 3 year warranty & only get 12 months. Proof of purchase is not accepted. I have had the GBH 36VLFi since June 2010, it was an impressive peice of kit until last week when it became very sluggish or didnt work at all. My co worker had the rival makita BHR261TRDE 36v SDS-Plus Hammer drill, after 2 1/2 years it developed a fault with the battery & Makita delivered out a new battery straight away, only proof of purchase needed, no online additional registrations needed. Ive used both & they were neck & neck, however in my view Boschs unnecessary additional registration requirements let it down, which leaves the makita clearly in 1st place."
