Built like a panzer tank

" Took me a while to bite the bullet and invest in a dust extractor. For me I just do a bit of DIY in the shed when I get the chance, so to buy something that wasn't a new machine or tool was a fairly daunting task. The day after I ordered I got a phone call from record power themselves to say that it would be dispatched the next working day.
When it arrived I unboxed it and found it to require pretty much no assembly at all. All I had to do was attach the hose using the pipe clamp and screw a handle onto the lid.
One of the things I was a bit worried about was the noise that it would make, since the neighbours are only over the fence, but I found it to be no louder than a household vacuum cleaner.
As for performance, well I put hardboard down to protect the floor when I got the shed. When I was clearing up some shavings off the floor, the hose made full contact with the hardboard and pulled it up off the floor! In the process it shrunk the hose and pulled the extractor unit over.
I found the 45l tank to be more than enough for my needs for my thicknesser and mitre saw. I've also bought a set of adapters to bring the hose diameter down to 35mm to suit my mitre saw too, so that's everything covered.
The only slight criticism I could make would be that it could have some castor wheels to make transportation a bit easier, but my shed is only 8 x 6 and space is too limited for me to need to move it around so it's fine for me. The thing as I say is built like a tank so will take a fair bit of abuse over the years no problems, over all a worthwhile investment. "
