"Overall length is 110mm of which 74mm is twin-fluted. The shank is cylindrical and the cutting tip (a simple V) varied in diameter between 3.46mm and 3.48mm over the 10 drills. Supplied in a card sleeve printed with the maximum rpm of 1500.
First drill out of the pack was bent like a banana so I set it aside for stirring varnish.
Using a Bosch cordless drill, the second drill has now made 72 holes in 2mm wall 100mm diameter aluminium tube (where access angle would have been a problem with a shorter drill) and 144 pilot holes in pine (for 75mm screws). It started without wandering in both materials and cut the holes quickly and cleanly, with excellent waste removal. More than medium pressure caused the drill to bow visibly, but the drill did not beak, and it is still as good as new."
