"Used this to stick some veneer strips around a porthole to finish of the edging. Tried the iron on stuff but it kept lifting as the hole in the wall is a series of short flat areas at about 8 degrees to each other. This stuff with plain veneer works so much better and grabs instantly and firmly which is great, but get it right first time."
"What can you say, It's the best contact adhesive out there. Paint it on both surfaces, leave it for 10 minutes then stick the bits together. Will stick pretty much anything to anything.
Does smell lovely too so a ventilated space is best and if you use your fingers to spread it like I did, wear a disposable glove otherwise you'll be picking the dried glue off for days after! I didn't wear a glove....."
"No one beats Evo on sticky stuff do they? Well ok some are as good or there abouts and some a bit cheaper too. But when buying small quantities for a quality fit, you may as well follow the good brand rule. Used for worktop edge strips and stuck em good, as always. ONE TIP, especially if you're new to glue: READ the LABEL, DO what it says, DON'T apply to just one surface and DON'T put the parts together until it's dry to the touch. That way you get maximum performance from the glue."
"Thinner and easier to use than previous versions. Used to re-stick plastic film which had come adrift on some chipboard furniture. Did the job quickly and well. Take care when using on plastics as the solvent in the glue can sometimes damage the surface or worse dissolve the plastic itself!"
