"bought this today as the sink i'd brought had the tap hole wrong side for my needs, very easy to use just screw back together (in the hole made) also over a pound cheaper than a well known diy store...... it's plastic if your hoping for a metal one you will have to pay more somewhere else."
"You would think that tap hole stoppers would be easy to find and cheap. Not in most DIY stores, what I paid for 2 at Screwfix you couldn't get one for at ,well let's say it has a red pencils on some of its products . This product did the job, and I got the last 2 so well happy."
"It wasn't easy to track down this blanking plug. All the normal DIY stores do not stock such a thing! The one in my sink was in a bad condition and I simply needed to replace it. Couldn't find one anywhere until I looked at Screwfix. They not only listed it but had it in stock too. It was also at a great price. Now my sink looks much better!"
"Slightly smaller in diameter than the original it replaced which had started to shed the chrome finish. This unfortunately has left a slight mark on the stainless top, but it does the job. I would have preferred one with tapered edges like the original, but not to be, so I put the rubber washer below rather than on top of the sink."
