"I have several Multi tools in full and Mini sizes incl an expensive Gerber one bought in USA on Hols one year. I must say for just under a tenner ( 9.99 on offer) this s an Excellent buy , has plenty of useful options with good strong grip pliers and sharp blade, the free belt storage pocket is a nice extra and both it and the tool are solidly made. Giving 4 star for performance as not fully tested yet and also I would say screw drivers etc are ok for small jobs but could bend or brake, has happened with a Gerber I have ;-( on excessive use , havening said that its a back up NOT a main tool !
OK lets be frank here it is NOT in same league as a Leatherman but you are not paying about 80 - £100 for something you will probably chuck in car Glove box or carry in bottom of Fishing or tool bag as a back-up where as the Stanley is just the Job for that sort of option ! Would make a great stocking filler .... Try one ! I reckon it wont disappoint"
"Good piece of kit.I have a very expensive leatherman and this is nearly as good.At the price you dont mind abusing it.Blade is really sharp.everything works well.Comfortable to use and comes with a good case included"
"This really is a great multi tool. It feels really sturdy, has a good weight to it without feeling unnecessarily heavy. The knife portion is scarily sharp from the moment you buy it. The saw is also pretty capable given it's size.
The screwdriver portions are good too as you can extend 1 "arm" of the tool out to essentially make a full size screwdriver.
Would definitely recommend this product for someone who wants a multi tool, but doesn't want to spend £50+."
"Is a little early for a full review as not had chance to use it much, BUT: it looks the job; sturdy so i see no reason to doubt reliability; compact without being so small it cant do anything; comes with a carry case to stick on your belt; not expensive so value for £."
"Had fancied something like this to keep in the kitchen drawer for some time, just out of laziness instead of dragging the tool boxes out for minor jobs. I have to say it seem pretty decent for the price. If you're going to use something like this a lot then perhaps a Gerber or Leatherman may be sturdier (eh, or proper tools!) but I'm more than happy with it's quality."
"A nice solid piece of gear from Stanley, it has a good range of 'get you out of trouble' bits in it, my only slight criticism is that the PH bit should have been bigger (#2), also comes with a solid pre-formed belt case."
"I lost my trusted Leatherman ,so bought cheap replacement. It didn't last a day ! The blades are hard to get out unless your fingernails are long and then then the blades are stiff, the pliers barely meet and won't cut T&E cleanly. The blade loses it edge after 10 minutes. I ended up cutting a live wire with them and burned a permanent notch into the cutter but dropped them and it landed blade down in the floor and bent the main cutting blade ,which now won't straighten properly. Overall looks good and robust but isn't cheap metals throughout . I think I'll stick to Leatherman never managed to break one yet just lose them"
