"Great sturdy fixing, capable of hanging almost everything. Used these to hang levels, tools, small plant, garden equipment etc. they fix well, look good and will last a lifetime. Gonna get some more for the money"
"These are really strong, well engineered and attractive. I bought them for hanging heavy saucepans etc on from a beam but as I got more than needed for that, am using the others for bits of garden machinery etc,
A great advantage is that they are fixed by screws through the shank as opposed to screwing in to the wall etc themselves."
"I am very impressed with the heavy duty nature of these hooks. I thought they would be thin and tinny, but they are substantial and will take quite a load. No idea how long they will last but I'm confident it will be some time before I need to replace them."
"I wanted to purchase these on line but tried to compare the smaller 30mm with a short stem, then the 40mm but the 45mm version looked ideal BUT the advance descriptions do not give the length of shank but the weights are terribly wrong too. So off to the new Rugby store and wait to see them. Ideal - they are 130mm long with 2 strong fixing holes x 55mm overall in width slight offset. BUT the weight is not 443kg !!!!!! it is actually 94grammes each thus all 5 are about 470grammes. They are well made but others will be put off buying these & 30mm + 45mm online due to lack of details. Action Screwfix !!"

Review 10 for General Hooks Galvanised 45mm 5 Pack
"Not much say considering they are just hooks, however they were better quality than I expected for the price, I used them for hanging a short ladder from a rail in a public house, they did the job nicley."

Review 12 for General Hooks Galvanised 45mm 5 Pack
"... is that the fixing holes are huge, about 5mm or wider. None of my collection of woodscrews were wide enough, and I'm not going to get a pack of monster screws just to hold up a few hooks so they are going back."
