"If you're a traditionalist who poo-poos the idea of gluing wood using superglue, then you're missing out. This pack contains so much glue you could possibly make a full-size replica of the Taj Mahal out of lolly sticks and still have glue left over. Plenty of accelerator means you're not hanging about waiting for joints to bond. If you still prefer the idea of PVA glue, try using a little cyano in combination to set the join rigidly in place while the PVA cures."
"As you would expect from a no-nonsense product, it does its job well. Fixing mitres on MDF cornices, spray the activator on one joint, then apply the glue to the other, press together for a count on 10 and Hey Presto, job done!!
Like the fact that you can purchase the glue separately, as other reviewers have said that the can of activator will outlast the glue.
"This is a thick super glue and activator much the same as its competitors but lots cheaper and with the bonus of being able to get a much larger activator spay if your in the habit of wasting it. It performs as well as mitre mate, mitre ffffast and other leading brands, thick enough for fixing pvc window trims without it running every where and making a mess."
"Making a mitred timber fire hearth surround for my father. Its simply cosmetic, but he wanted it removable and no screws or pins. This product bonded to the timbers instantly. And less than half the price of a competitive item - Great stuff"
"Just as good as the named brands out there and at about half the price excellent value. I have used it on any job that requires super glue and it speeds up the curing time to just seconds instead of minutes."
"This is great stuff, it sticks fast in under 10 seconds and stays put. Also when the glue runs out faster than the spray (which it does) you can buy a replacement glue :) if doing a big glueing job I recommend buying one of these and a separate glue rather than two of this as it saves a bit of cash."
"I was very sceptical about this Mitre adhesive, It is cheap in comparison with branded products, but it does what it says on the tin. Make sure the activator has dried before you bring the joint together and it works every time. It is even slightly gap filling, so absolute perfection is not needed. I now use it anywhere that I would have used an ordinary superglue before and it rarely fails, even for tasks that it was not designed for"
