"This is great stuff, it sticks fast in under 10 seconds and stays put. Also when the glue runs out faster than the spray (which it does) you can buy a replacement glue :) if doing a big glueing job I recommend buying one of these and a separate glue rather than two of this as it saves a bit of cash."
"I was very sceptical about this Mitre adhesive, It is cheap in comparison with branded products, but it does what it says on the tin. Make sure the activator has dried before you bring the joint together and it works every time. It is even slightly gap filling, so absolute perfection is not needed. I now use it anywhere that I would have used an ordinary superglue before and it rarely fails, even for tasks that it was not designed for"
Does exactly what it says and more for a very good price. The superglue part is quite thick so it stays where you place it.
Useful in many more ways than just mitres, building anything out of MDF (hold parts together during assembly and then add extra strengthening) or uPVC cladding around doors and windows. But for mitres it's fabulous.
But be warned - when it says instant bond it means it - it doesn't forgive!"
"Don't be influenced by the "one star" reviewers - this product is just as good as the big name brands. In fact it smells exactly the same and does exactly the same job. The only difference I could find is that it is much cheaper ! Well done Screwfix - keep them coming."
"This product is great value and the performance is as good as any of the branded products I have used previously. I used it for it's intended purpose of fixing kitchen mitre joints and it did a brilliant job, the joints were solid as a rock! I would definitely buy this stuff again!"
"As a prop maker in the entertainment business, I am always on the look out for adhesives to assist me in the building of my stage effects. Through out the years all sorts of glues have appeared on the market, but my latest discovery has been the, No Nonsense Mitre Adhesive from Screwfix, I have used this with so many applications with great success it has prompted me to give this review. I have used it with numerous materials, like, glass, metal, plastic, wood, mdf, copper, brass, cloth, paper, card, costume jewellery, and so much more, and sometimes I have used No Nonsense Mitre Adhesive as a temporary fix for drilling or shaping. So in my opinion, if any of the above has given you a problem in the past when you have had difficultly in gluing or fixing materials, give No Nonsense Mitre Adhesive a go, you won’t be disappointed, and you only have to wait 10 seconds for the result, how quick is that? 10 seconds. Tip: The instructions suggest you put the glue on one surface, and the spray hardener on the other surface. I have found you can also put the glue on one surface first, then the spray hardener on top of the glue, and then press the two surfaces together, if you quickly rub the surfaces together that helps too."
