"have an issue with the neighbour feeding birds - hence cats are always after the birds, bought these to stop the cats, replacing wire mesh that was previously used. easy to install and cutting is simple at the break points on the plastic strip"
"As Corporal Jones was wont to say, "They don't like it up-em Sir!" and it seems to be true - pigeons which used to make a racket on our bay window roof from early morning have now disappeared, presumably to annoy someone else. Not had the spikes fitted for long, hence I can't comment fully on reliability yet, so 4 stars for now. As to features, sharp points seem to be adequate on their own. Nice one."
"Suffered corrosive pigeon poo damage to cars and patio/footpaths for years now and 'had enough'. Installed these bird spikes to ridges on house, garage, TV arial and a few other places and the problem has reduced significantly. A bit expensive for what they are, but they seem to be having the desired effect. Now, if I can only get the neighbours to stop leave copious amounts of food out for them..."
"Installed these in June 2011. Like other reviewers I was happy with the ease of installation and immediate deterrent on all things that fly (thankfully not many seagulls in South London). They were installed on a frame to deter birds landing on top of a 6 foot garden fence and leaving droppings on a wooden deck. However, by June 2012 the plastic base of the strips had become brittle, began to crack around the screw holes, and bit by bit 100-150mm sections have broken away. For a product obviously intended for external use, the lack of durabilty is a major flaw. I have no option but to source another product to replace the Proctor item."
