"the issue with these broom heads is the plastic collar where the handle attaches - the brush it's self is fine. 1st attempt to fit the handle the plastic collar that holds the brush shattered - got a replacement - the 2nd broom head lasted 1 hour - again the plastic collar broke where it is screwed to the brush head … now on 3rd replacement … it has lasted more than an hour so things are looking up!"
"The bracket has a tapered screw thread inside it, but none of the 3 three screw-threaded handles we have at home for other brooms would fit this item. A plain broom handle we also had was too big to fit in.
The Screwfix handles (only sold as 5 packs) have NO screw thread.
By the time I'd given up trying to get a handle into the bracket all the central bristles had fallen out making it useless as a broom and impossible to return, so straight in the bin I'm afraid!"
"The plastic is clearly too brittle (or faulty or poor quality) as the first time I used this - on the second brush stroke, on level ground and sweeping only slight surface dust - the plastic snapped and the brush head parted company with the handle. Very disappointed. Will request a replacement but frankly not confident the same won't happen again."
