"These boots are extremely comfy and did not require breaking in. They are of good quality and friends thought they were valued at £40 plus. I would definitely recommend these and will buy again. I also have shoes of the same make and price. These also are well made and comfy and not at all heavy compared to more expensive shoes."
"I love these boots, I wear them as ordinary walking boots. I have previously bought proper walking boots from a camping shop and within 12 months the soles need replacing and the lining has worn. These boots are comfortable from the first day and the soles never wear down, if a builder can wear these all day long then so can I."
"Use these as winter boots (a size bigger than normal for extra socks); they stay comfortable all day, and whilst robust are also light enough. The sole is sufficiently grippy but lets mud fall off easily too. A valued part of my kit."
"OK,only had them 3 days but they are great.Collars rubbing the ankle a bit but that's because the leathers so thick and solid,be fine when worn in a bit.Comfortable on the feet and wide so plenty of room.Never mind working in these Im keeping them for best, weddings, funerals and uncle Finnegans 90th birthday dinner and dance.May even venture a trek up Snowdonia..."
"Have put these boots through some tough times. I do a lot of brickwork restoration, always on my knees, and bending the boot at the toes. Most boots split at the little toe, but these boots have lasted well. Comfortable, warm, waterproof and look ok to."
"Durable, good breathing- keeps feet dry, sturdy, light weight, comfortable for first 5 hrs and then light sole ache, good style, easy to clean, water proof. Good buy for the price. Good sales man at the counter of Harrow Store, advised in selecting right size."
"Wish I'd ordered two pairs while they were on offer at £20! Great quality leather, proper rings for the laces, not hooks which can chew them up. Tongue is not leather so Screwfix don't claim them to be waterproof, but they are if you wear gaiters - spent hours brushcutting in rain and mud and my feet were still dry, also comfortable thanks to the wide fit and good insoles. For outdoor work perhaps a beefier tread might be ideal, but all told this is the best money I spent with Screwfix in a long time. Get a tin of dubbin too, these boots are worth taking care of."
"Good value boots, lace up and undo quickly, comfortable, steel toe cap does not dig into toes when crouching down. Sole is tough giving good grip but easily releases the mud so you don't get massive mud balls for feet. Not fully water proof, but pretty good damp resistance for the price. They won't last forever but given the price I will be able to buy more before they get tatty."
"I purchased these boots for recreational use because of their light weight and comfort. They make ideal walking boots at a fraction of the cost of boots marketed for that purpose. Being leather they will need protection to ward off water ingress. Overall pleased with the purchase and would recommended the product,"
