"Just bought one of these for a work colleague after having one myself for 6 years. I have only had one problem with the ceramic brush holder broke, but it which was easily and cheaply sorted. This is used daily and has been an exceptional asset to me."

Review 3 for DeWalt DC223KA 3.8kg SDS Plus Drill 24V
"To be honest i expected alot more from dewalt, ive had a 18v xrp for about 8 years now and its getting abit tired but has never let me down.So now im in the market for a new one and wanted something with abit more power. The company I work for bought one of these dewalt 24v and at first I thought it was a decent buy. After 6 months or so and alot of use it started to dissapoint. I found using it above waist height was difficult, for some reason its spongey, you have to put alot of pressure againt it for the hammer action to work also the batterys arn't that easy to take off and seem to go flat quickly and at around £400 I thought it was a bit of let down.however it does have a very good chisel action. My advice would be buy a bosch 36v you get 3 batteries has better battery technology(but does not have chisel action) and is £100 cheaper 0r the hitachi 24 volt £50 cheaper than the dewalt and has good reviews."
