"The Triton brand is trusted in our household, this shower replaces a Triton Ivory first generation that has been installed almost 10 years in a hard water area before element failure. I look forward to even half that performance from this shower.
The shower unit itself and the controls are relatively simple with regards to both installation and operation.
Although simple, the unit is quite contemporary and attractive and suits a white, white/chrome bathroom, although it would lend itself to most modern bathrooms.
The unit is easy to install with some very clear instructions from a reasonably competent DIY point of view. The instructions re-iterate at length about how critical it is to commission the unit properly (this is not a complex affair, simply following some common sense instructions). No surprises or missing information and everything went as expected during the commissioning cycle.
The shower performs exceptionally well at nominal mains pressure (exact pressure is not known at this time).
The shower head offers several easily select-able modes and comes with a special key-tool to allow easy dis-assembly for cleaning (separate instructions provided), although this has not been attempted at the time of writing this review.
Overall; attractive, simple, functional, high quality, easy to install, exceptional value for money, brand reliability."

Triton T80GSi - Very good

"Bought this to replace a dead Tritin T80Si.
This one is slightly more powerful than the old one, and it shows.
Fitting was pretty easy (simple wiring and plumbing, no dramas). Pity there aren't a few more options when it comes to the screw-holes for the wall fitting - I wanted it (ideally) to line up with the old shower unit's screwholes (it is basically the same model, after all) - but, sadly, I ended up having to drill my own, new holes instead. Not a big deal, but just adds to the number of tools you need to go and fetch.
In use, this shower is noticably more powerful than our old one (9.5kW vs 8.5kW), so it makes it very nice to use.
Difficult to comment on reliability at such an early stage, but SO far it has been perfect, hence the 5 stars.
Overall, very happy indeed.

let down by Triton

"Had a lot of showers to fix over the years. This is a good one as far as working is concerned, BUT one thing on the shower is bad, the back entry for the cable, there is not one if you come in at the back you have to get close to the nearest pont to an opening near the bottom conectiont to the tank, and work the cable through with long nose pliars and a wooden drift
you cant risk cuttng the plastic back plate. also the shower head is cheap and nasty and with the hose on is a sloppy fit and there is no choice of hose length, I wrote and told Triton and they are notifying there designe dept. No comment from from them.
