"Exceeded expectations by a long way. The wooden box is beautiful - wouldn't discgrace a designer perfume brand, whilst the finish of the drills is very fine - all fully ground. Perform faultlessly although you have to make sure the chuck is well tightened. I have a (British-made) Conecut which is similar but has a three cornered shank which effectively prevents rotation. They individually cost much more than this box of three though."
"I got this set to drill some large diameter holes into the door of a storage container to fit a locking box. I wasn't sure that they would be up to it but they managed to enlarge 16 holes successfully so much better than buying large drill bits for a job like this."
"This performed perfectly. Given the price I was not expecting much so purchased 2 sets as I needed to bore holes through 2mm stainless sheet. My purchase was over zealous as the first set went through no issues and didnt need to touch the 2nd set. Now stored for use another time as they were more then man enough for the job."
"You can easily pay this for one cone cutter and if its something you only use now and again, these are a great option. Having only 2 cutting sides, they have to be used with care but they can do a lovely job and, at this price, can't failt them!"
"Nice looking set of cone cutters (in cheap plastic box - not wooden anymore) however they didn't want to cut stainless steel. Not sure how the previous reviewer managed too... I wanted to enlarge a kitchen sink hole from 28mm to 30mm but the cutter managed about 1mm before loosing its edge and then just getting hot. I ended up enlarging the hole with a cheap hand file which was surprisingly easy. I imagine they are fine for other materials just not 316 stainless steel!"
