"A perfectly adequate product, that albeit does require a little bit of tinkering and adjustment in order to make it totally satisfactory in my opinion, that is work required to join the two poles together, shaping the ends of the poles to get a good fit for the finials, I then drill and countersunk and fit a brass screw end on to secure the finials in place. Make sure you take time to drill pilot holes before using the supplied screws. Take care on assembly and fitment and the pole will last for years."
"Bad points 3m pole comes in 2x 1.5m sections, this isn’t so bad if they cut the ends at 90 degrees angles but this is not the case. The different angles causes the pole not to be straight when joined together. Had 3 poles and they were all the same so from what i can see not a one off and just poor manufacturing process.
Holes for screws are not counter sank so the screws sticks out like a sore thumb. Also there were no coloured plugs to cover the ends of the screws.
