"I got this a few months ago on a deal, its one of the best buys I have made. Cuts really well. Just find its very easy not to get a straight cut you just have let it do the cutting. I also got the tile cutting blade and re tiled my kitchen and hall way floor. Would buy again."
"brought this the other week and its a great tool. i need a new mitre saw and i just couldnt decide as there are so many on the market these days so i bit the bullet and brought this and i cant fault it in any way does what it says on the box"
"Having priced around for a cut-off saw for metal and a separate mitre saw for wood, I found this product at Screwfix that does both for a third of what I nearly spent. Its first job for me was on steel. 50mmX50mm hollow section and 75mmX6mm flat, both of which it cut easily with hardly any sparks or burr, from that to trenching and mitres in oak with accurate and clean cuts.(Although I do wonder how long I'll get away with that!) Replacement blades are quite reasonably priced too so not a big thing to buy a spare, use one for metal and one for wood. My only slight criticism of the saw is that it takes up a bit more space than some of its much more expensive competition, that said it does have a bigger cutting capacity than most of its competitors and very few of them do all that this does, so it could be seen as an acceptable trade-off. Solid and versatile, its a top piece of kit for its price and one of the best purchases I've made in a long while."
"As a DIY & not professional I became confused by all the different choices & nearly took advantage of some of the saws in some of the sales. However after reading some of the Evolution Rage reviews I decided it was better to pay full price & buy a more versatile saw.I am very pleased with it,it is easy to use.I have only used it to cut wood, but it even cut through freshly cut(wet sap) tree logs for firewood easily.Nice to have the metal option as who knows what may come up? Only downside is these things do take up quite a bit of room.Recommended."
"I am the owner of a building company who had been pestered by one of my employees numerous times to give evolution a go! I gave in and brought the wacker plate which is an excellent little tool. From this I brought this chop saw which I can only praise! It does everything it says on the tin, with precision and ease!!"
"This Evolution Rage Multi Mitre Saw has exceeded my expectations. It is more than competent when it comes to any amateur DIY tasks. I've cut Skirting board, kitchen laminates, oak flooring, architrave and decking effortlessly and cleanly, without the need to change blades. Great value for money. A good all rounder."
"Purchased this on the fact that a friend had the circular saw in which he was impressed with. I really can't fault this saw, it is so versatile and still can not believe the price. The Dewalt saw is nearly triple the price... So you can't go wrong. The laser feature is so handy too"
"The Evolution Rage is a great addition to anybody's tool collection, especially those who work on site. The fact that it can cut wood, metal and plastic with the same blade makes it very versatile piece of equipment to have."
"this saw is something else it does cut all the things it says it does. i had a dewalt 707 pull saw but around the saw broke as it is all plastic, and cost a fortune to replace it..this however is metal around the blade so yet another plus.."
"For the price this is a good saw for the money. It's early days as I have only recently purchased this so I don't know how reliable it will be. But first impressions are quite good, everything works as it should , although the saw is quite weighty but this isn't noticeable once it's sat on the bench. The saw did need slight adjustment to line the blade up square but thats to expected really. Only been used for cutting cls timber so far, and did get some spelching on the cut but can't moan too much as the blade is general purpose and not a fine cut blade."
