""This light has performed well so far. It's plenty bright enough for most jobs and is under a tenner. The only criticism i have is that the cable is pretty shorty, so you'll need and extension lead in mos cases.""
"Great little light for the money. Needed it to do some work in a cupboard under the stairs. Very bright and was exactly what I needed. Does get very hot though. Can comment on reliability as only had it a few weeks"
"These lights are very cheap and powerful and seem reliable enough I've used these a few times now and never had any problems, They are very bright and it comes with bulbs, and the bulbs seem to last for ages, I've never had to change a bulb yet, the frame seems sturdy enough too, I've bought two of these as they are that cheap and powerful so will always have a spare."
"Great light, does what it says, gets very hot in use as per warning given, only gave 3 stars for reliability as I haven't used it that much, but I'm sure it will last many years. Good product , service from shop very good. Good price. Very happy."
"Used this for the first time painting in low light to full moon ! outside. Though the double standing one I have is obviously more powerful this does the job well enough as it is small enough to carry around for most jobs whereas the larger one takes up more space in the van or car. Would recommend this one as the price is very good at around £15.00. It is sturdy and comes with a bulb (not fitted) which some items do not tend to do. What my friend I like about any purchase from Screwfix is that should this equipment fail or not come up to spec in any way they will refund or change without quibble."
"Brilliant! (groan). An excellent light weight, manouvreable, portable light. Bright enough for any task. I used the light under the floor of my house & it was almost like working in daylight. Just one word of warning, the metal casing soon gets very, very hot! Very good value."
"Great buy, have used mine for several years, does get a bit hot, but I'm about to buy anoather one. Always carry a spare bulb, as the last thing you need is a black out half way through a plastering job."
"I bought 3 of these, As said previously they get hot and don’t look at them directly as the light will blind you for a moment when you look away. The light is as basic as it can be, just some frame work to hold it all together, a bulb and a power cord. My gripe is, the bulbs supplied, don’t last that long I used the lights for about 50 hours at the very most before they failed. They were not knocked or shunted or anything like that. One moment they were working next poof of they went (not at the same time, within weeks of each other) but well within my 50 hour time frame.
