"Good ceiling pir, not sure of reliability yet, only problem i found was the spring clips were not low enough in the casing for a strong flush fitting with the plasterboard ceiling. Half the price of one from CFE."
"I wanted to operate a shower fan without a pull cord or connection to the ceiling lights. This allowed me to control the fan only when using the shower; the PIR sensor comes with a sticker kit to mask the sensor from regions of the room not requiring detection. Works very well."
"I bought this PIR for a large built-in wardrobe I had refurbished so it would light up automatically when we opened the sliding doors and reached in. This PIR has proved reliable and would recommend it. I had originally bought item 80538 so I wouldn't have to cut a hole in the ceiling inside the wardrobe but this became a pain as it would activate randomly in the night (along with a replacement) so returned for a refund."
"The fact that the adjustments are not on the front is a bonus, as it stops being messed with once set, which is good for public places. It is IP44 rated, where as others are not or rated lower, making it more suitable for places that others are not. As an electrician I have fitted several and experienced no problem. Finally it is cheaper than most, so all round good value."
"I use a lot of these to switch lights in kitchens, good product only annoying factor is that the adjustment dials are in the ceiling whereas other brands have them visable and accessible after fitting"
