"i have purchased many of these locks and fitted them in schools so they are used all the time, I have never had a recall on one and they work fine, could be made a little easier to fit but very good value for money"
"A pushbutton lock that is great value for money, easy to install, comes with a set up security code that is not "generic" like other makes 1234 etc. and so do not need resetting. If you want to reset the code it is simple to do with the equipment supplied and with clear instruction. Overall great value!!"
"I was looking for a relatively inexpensive combination lock to secure 3 internal office doors. This item fitted the bill perfectly. Each lock took me 30 mins to fit, including checking out the door frame for the latch. I did not encounter any problems or difficulties. Very easy to fit, albeit the instructions were a bit vague. Don't be put off by this because the lock design is such that its very obvious how it should be installed. The small size of the lock means that it is more discrete than the larger ones."
"The PDF attachment for this item is the wrong one
If you believe it the screw holes are 22mm OUTSIDE of the lock, best to check the dimensions on the item itself.
I have just replaced the one I bought 5 years ago, the latch snapped inside the door meaning I had to remove part of the door frame to open the door, BUT... its had 5 years of good use & for the price you cant go wrong - I've just bought another"
"The lock is great and I am very happy with it. The instructions can catch you out. There is writing on one side and you are encouraged to drill through the paper making the instruction illegible. Worse there are 2 dotted lines which seem only to be printed to catch you out. They are 50mm not 60mm (you will see what I mean when you try to fit it). So you can guess what I did. These instructions need rewriting so be careful! I only gave 1 star in order to highlight this problem."
