"Good box for dual accessory use, doesn't come with floating tabs so make sure your chasing is nice and square. Also need to check fitting for non-standard accessories, standard white stuiff is fine, but some fancy accessories will require two singles to get the pitch right."
"Easy installation for any combination of single sized sockets, whether it be a fused connection and single socket, telephone point and tv coax outlet. Makes installation quick and easy.
Complete with a removable centre divider, so you can either keep the two back boxes isolated from one another, or you can have lots of room, eg for linking sockets and FCU's together without the need to exit and return into separate back boxes.
Solid feel and easy knock-outs make for easy and tidy instillations."
"Always have this item in the van as quick and easy solution to comply with regs when fused spur needs to be added along side outlet socket. Neat and tidy soulution. Need to chase out a little deeper if changing from existing double back box to this one."
"It does what you need it to do. However, I paid attention to the picture, in particular the knockouts at the back (i.e. 4, 1 in each corner). Its not like that, it has 2. Most of the time this won't matter, but I was replacing and needed a knockout where there wasn't one so had the wonderful task of drilling a new one. I just wish they'd make the images realistic."
"The principle idea is good, in practice it does not work for the majority of sockets, switches, or decorative fronts. The switch type must not be more than 38.5mm max width, otherwise you will not get two covers sitting side by side. Shame."
"Bought this after reading that the dry lining version didn't allow the fitting of two metal faced switches/sockets. This one doesn't either - at least with the Volex Stainless range sold by Screwfix. Presumably moulded fittings should fit, but I haven't checked. Hope this helps. Either way, I'll just use two single back boxes - which also allows a gap for a small tile infill."
