"I used these when fitting radiators in a refurb. The old microbor pipe previously fitted was routed so poorly I could not possibly replace with 15mm in the same place - these allowed me to fit as close to original position as possible and make a really difficult fit a lot easier! I have since kept them in my kit for emergencies - not so much for repair but in case I have a nightmare fit again! I will use these again and again!"
"I put a nail through a pipe when fitting a floor, considered paying £60 plus for a plumber then poped into screw fix and bought this push fit repair pipe and pipe cutter for under a tenner. Cut the damaged pipe pushed this repair pipe inits place job done so easy to use just push in pipe fully for a hassle free repair. Excellent piece of kit, saved at least £50 will use push fit again after buying this great price too. Turned on the water expecting the worse no need to worry leak free repair and did not have to wait for a plumber."
"Accidentally put a screw through a central heating 15mm copper pipe when fitting skirting boards. (Pipes had been plastered over and my stud/metal/voltage finder didn't find them, not infallible). Although I had to: 1/ excavate a bit of plaster (around 400mm slot), 2/ turn off boiler & all rads to minimise the leakage, 3/ cut the pipe in a couple of places with a diamond masonary cutter on an angle grinder (tut tut, I know, but no room for a slice or wheel cutter), 4/ clean up of ends 5/ finally pushfit this repair into place was easy and much quicker than the usual olives/compression repair patch or (heaven forbid) trying to slide in a new section of pipe and solder joints."
