"This range of holecutters is very easy to use and works well with metal boxes, plastic and thin wood. There are many different sizes that all simply snap onto the arbour (bought separately). This quick release system saves a lot of time. With sheet metal, it is a good idea to drill a pilot hole first as the guide bit tends to skid around."
"Used these for drilling through 1/4 steel plate. The quick change system is an excellent idea but I've found that the saw tends to wander a little until its really started to cut in making the hole look a little untidy, I think this is down to the quick change not having enough rigidity to hold it steady.
The saw itself has lasted well but I do use a lot of oil when cutting.
Great tool and probably works well on other surfaces just the wandering lets it down a little bit."
"Pros: The design of the Arbor is brilliant. I have tried many fast change hole saws on the market and in my opinion, this is by far the simplest and fastest to use.
Cons: I have a few hole saws from the range. Not every tooth is aligned with the next causing it to spin slightly off axis and create breakout when cutting some plastics and metals.
Overall: I would reccomend this hole saw and others in the range if you regularly need to change sizes and quickly, but if you only need 2 or 3 sizes, i would look at a either starrett or lenox hole saws and arbors."
