"At first sight these seem quite insubstantial but in practice they are strong enough for most work. Rather wobbly due to the flexible plastic construction but I have been sawing 200mm joists and 22mm chipboard flooring on mine without any problems at all. Nice and light and don't take up much space. Everyone should have a pair."
"As stated in previous reviews, these are good value. although BECAREFUL with opening them out, it is very easy to just pull them apart & break the joining brace which opens out. But overall they do the job & can fold up flat to be placed in the van.
"Needed a set of these for cutting worktops. Suprisingly sturdy when extended and fold away neatly to a space saving size. Handy non-slip pads and tabs you can raise to stop things sliding off the back edge are nice touches. For £20 you can't go far wrong."
"They didn't even make it out of the trade counter without breaking. Tapped it against the door when leaving and heard a crack. Noticed one of the brackets was missing. Picked it up as I though it had just popped off but on returning home realised that it has actually snapped.
"I found these to be very poor quality and they broke first time i used them they,re clip together but sadly once they,d collapsed they would,nt fit back together and i ended up binning them, though i suspect the pair i got had already been returned to the store as when i purchased them they came with no packaging."
"Unless you have the time to take these back to the shop do not buy them. I first used them as a bench for my chop saw, and they just aboutmade it. But then i used them to put a sheet of mdf on and to cut with circle saw. Half way through the cut the horses collapsed and nearly cut my hand. Total waste of time."
"I had hoped that these trestels were going to be sturdy and robust, but they`re not. The problem with them is at the fulcrum, the axis point around where the legs swivel and lock out. It is very weak and I expect it to break the next time that I use them. My advice for anyone considering buying a pair of trestles would be for them to pay a little more and get a more sturdier pair."
