"We purchased this little gem to clear the aftermath of four felled trees. Having struggled for two weekends trying to diminish the huge pile of branches left at the bottom of the garden we decided enough was enough. The Ryobi is simple to assemble and is ready to go in minutes. Once we had practiced pushing a few branches through it it munched its way through more in an few hours than we had achieved the previous two weekends. We sprinkled the shreddings over the garden as a mulch. Recommended."

Review 3 for Ryobi RSH2400 100kg/hr Impact Garden Shredder
"Do not buy any Ryobi goods, bought a shredder 18 months ago. Screwfix replaced it as it completely stopped working. The next unit worked for approx two hours use then the same thing. By this opoint it's out of warranty and neither Ryobi or Screwfix are interested. These cheap goods are designed to work for approx 10 hours based on the average DIY'er use over two years they are then (although sounds a remarkable claim I know but info from people I know in the plant hire business) designed to stop so we buy another machine. If you want something that is true value and will last then please spend the money and buy a reputed brand cheap is not alway value. By the way I have had exactly the same experience with the Ryobi petrol chainsaw I bought at the same time. The actual fuel pipe was not petrol resistant material so after a few hours of use the carburettor is blocked with melted plastic!!! Waste of money!!!"
