"Great value, and all works well. A couple of things to note though:
1. You would only get 16 litres per day at 100% humidity. Starting from 70% it removed 2 litres in 9 hours, which is around 5-6 litres a day.
2. The fan stays on even when the humidistat has turned the condenser off. I understand that this is to avoid frosting of the condenser element, but worth being aware of. The fan isn't that noisy though - on the fastest setting it's about the same as our kitchen extractor on the slowest setting."
"Bought this two days ago to dry out my bathroom walls which have major dampness. It's been running for over 24 hrs and has filled the container already. Seems to bee doing the job very well. The walls are checked with a damp meter and are slowly drying out. Not too sure how long it's going to be running to the walls are bone dry but it's doing it's job. People say the water try is fiddle, well it just slides out at the front and slides back, so not sure what they are on about.. It is on the quiet side and the machine measure 2ft high by 18 inches wide appox, not a big machine but it does the job just as well. Price was ok at £149.99 and I am pleased. Rated the reliability as 5 as had for two days. Small, compact and very capable. Best set the humidity to lowest setting at 30% to suck moisture out of damp walls and not 60 as advised in the instruction."
"I have a large unheated conservatory that suffers severe condensation in the winter. I have been using on loan a 5yr old top of the range Mitsubishi, it seemed to help. This machine was only purchased 2 days ago so I cant really comment on reliability yet but it works and works at least 4 time better than the Mitsubishi, its very quiet and removes 4 times the water than the loan machine. The water tray is a bit flimsy but I can put up with that. So its unbranded and made in China, who cares, its cheap to buy and run and it does what it says on the Ad, buy it"
"I purchased this for my garage, although it's not a damp garage I want to be safe as I have a couple of motorbikes in and one is a classic so need to keep dry best way to stop rust. Since placing in garage it has removed about 4-6 liters of water per week. For anyone thinking of installing in a house it runs very quite. Next job to plumb it in save emptying the tank although it does cut out when full. Definitely recommend, best one I've used"
"I bought this dehumidifier in order to dry laundry which where otherwise hanging out for up to four days and still being damp. This dehumidifier removed 10% of the humidity in my laundry room within the first hour and dried out my laundry in no time. Excellent dehumidifier!"
"I recently bought this product for a basement bedroom that felt very damp and found from using this product the humidity was over 80 percent after only 1 hour this had dropped to 65 percent with plenty of water collection I also noticed its not using to mutch power to run so would highly recommend this product"
"Bought this after having previously had ebac ones. Worked very well and got rid of all condensation from three bed house - til yesterday! Machine stopped working, completely dead when I returned home last night. Took it back to store and ordered a replacement so hopefully this was just an unlucky one off. We will see if it lasts more than the three weeks this first one did. I have recommended this to others who have purchased one as well. Fingers crossed."
"Works Great at keeping condensation down,I like the digital control panel that tells you the temp, fan speed, humid.%+the 12 hour timer! The only down side was the small water container,it should be twice the size, means you have to empty it more otherwise I would of given it 5*stars for everything!"
"Best dehumidifier we've had so far. We were happy with the last one, a Ruby, until it rusted inside and seized up. We've had the WHD running continuously for several weeks now. Initially I set it set it to 60% humidity and it removed about 2 litres per day. As the reading approached 60% the volume of water reduced to less than 1 litre. We've noticed that internal doors that were jamming now fit properly. I don't expect a machine with a compressor and fan to be silent running so it sits in a room we seldom use. It doesn't disturb us at all. My only criticisms are the clumsy tank fitting and I think the fan should have a slower speed for when the machine has the humidity under control."
"Was pleasantly sup-prized when i unpacked this unit. as It looked good, was easy to use & didn't make much noise. You couldn't sleep in the same room, but could watch tv in the same room. The only fiddly part was the water tray was a bit fiddly to get back in its slot on most times i used it. But otherwise a nice unit."
"just purchased this product after reading positive reviews. We have bad condensation in our three bedrooms with runny windows every day and mould around them so I was looking forward to start use it and see the results.but honestly what a dissappoitment. It does absorb some of the moist but can't really see any results and as for the noise level, it's quiet noisy so you can 't have it on during the night in your bedroom, it's like having a big fan on!And I am not fussy sleeper. Deffinitely would recommend to look for different type!"
