"Forge Steel Pipe Cutter Set 2Pc Brilliant. Cuts a really nice clean cut through copper pipe. It will also cut PE-X pipe although not all the way through but you can snap it off and you are left with a nice clean cut. Well worth it."
"having gone through I don't know how many cuttersover the years I found these to be the best thing since sliced bread, OH and they cut pipe pretty good too. Being an electrician I found these most usefull when the plumbers on site ask's, can I borrow your hacksaw mate I forgot mine, dosey beggers"
"They work well and are good value for money. I even figured how to get them apart and put them back together again. Important if they get wet and need to be dried out, but if You are a pro constant use will look after them. A good idea well executed and manufactured. "They feel right". Excellent product!"
"These cutters are brilliant. As a female DIYer with small hands (my little finger fits into the 15mm pipe!) it is difficult to find tools that are comfortable and easy to use. These are just the job and cut the pipe in just a few turns.
The 22 mm started taking longer to cut after the first 2 cuts but on examining it, it looked like the spring that pushes the wheel against the pipe was jamming - I just pushed the cutter at few times with the back of a spoon to release any debris that might be jamming it and now it works fine."
"I have only had this product a few days and have already used the 15mm on a job , its a great easy tool to use and takes little or no effort to cut a pipe giving a clean cut with no burrs, its sturdy build means it will last for years with any DIYer"
"Highly recommend. After having had my Bacho stolen yet again I thought I would get a cheaper set. I bought a set of Silverilne, thinking no one will steal these but forgetting how bad the quality, they packed in on the first day of use. I then bought these at less than half the price of Bacho, and what a surprised. they are equal to Bacho both in build Quality and Performance. Being honest I find them slightly better than Bacho, as they slice with less turns. Get yourself a set, you'll be well pleased."
"For the *Occasional* plumber this set represents very good value for money. They are quite narrow which may affect grip, however does allow cutting very close to floorboards or walls which I think is an advantage. Could not see these being used by a pro on a regular basis as the wider grippier individual versions would be a justifiable expense, but for a "keen DIYer" this is a must have in your toolkit!"
"comfortable and easy to use, paid the sale price of 12.99 but dont think they are worth the full price. ideal for cutting pipe tight to walls and colour makes them easy to spot if they are in amongst other tools. given low rating for performance and reliability as they are a recent purchase and cannot yet comment on reliabilty, but would definetely reccomend."
"Yes i would recommend these for occasional use but they're not quite up to the mark for frequent use. The 22 is still great but the 15 now needs replacing after 2 years of bathroom refurb use. Another reviewer mentioned the lack of turns to cut meaning difficukt to use in confined spaces were grip is an issue, this is very true and applies when wet! A bit of an issue from time to time. Brilliant tool and value for occasional use but not really right for regular use."
"handy cutters for tight spaces, 15mm very good cuts good clean lines, 22mm ok for 2-3 cuts after that can cut spirals seems to take a long time to cut, ok if you need a cutter in a tight space for 1 or 2 cuts, better off with a traditional cutter"
"seems that when they produce these items which require, blades, wheels a main item which without would render it useless.have asked for replacment blade for the 22mm cutter as it cuts and looks like a rat been chewing it,anyway the 15 great, will update when have new blades as i have 150 mtres of pipework to do and 500 pounds worth of connections,so that should test them and yes its only DIY,Y i dont know."
