"I've had some routers over the years. My first was an elu, which was very good, then a Bosch, then a Kress, then an Erbauer, say no more. And the new Makita, pound for pound is as good, if not better than any of the ones I've owned and used.
You just don't seem to be able to go far wrong if you go for Makita. Its good gear.
For cutting grooved, chamfering, rebating, guide work, etc. etc. All in its stride. Its small enough to be able to use one handed, some of the 1/2 inch routers are like trying to hold on to a chinook. This one does as its told."
