"Having burnt out a cheaper product (never pays to buy cheap), I am very pleased with this Grinder, having the big and the small gives great flexibility. Very Pleased with service as some other items I purchased were incorrect and they were changed without issue."
"Couldn’t believe the price – I was going to by the 9” on its own and notice the pack offer with the 4.5” as well….. for cheaper!
Both cutters have already paid for themselves on the first job I have done. I have been cutting stone stabs with them; marking with the 4.5” and doing the tough stuff with the 9”. Both cutters are a good weight and easy to use. I have not scored highly for reliability as I believe the test of tools is how long they last….
"well pleased with the twin pack of angle grinders, slices concrete slabs like butter with little effort. does not come with cutting blades, but are cheap enough to buy if you look in the right places."
"Bought these for some house renovation work. The 9" is fantastic and cuts through concrete blocks, bricks and anything else like butter(providing you have the right disk) however the smaller one has burnt out within a month of light use- only used with a soft wire brush for cleaning bricks."
""An excellent tool at a reasonable price. I love Hitachi tools. They are generally reliable, hard working but quite cheap compared to some other makes. This is a light but versatile grinder which has enough power to make short work of cutting & grinding."
"bought this as a 2 pack set Our large grinder burnt out in 5 weeks, it did not cope with heavy work at all, replaced it with a makita grinder and that did better. the small grinder is still working well enough. I wouldn't buy the set again though."
