"So, you want a drill bit set which covers ALL your needs? Sadly this is about as close as you can get. It's not like it's without failings but the rest are pretty limited...
Apart from having almost all the bits most chippies require (could do with some clearance hole/countersink bits and a Snappy-style changer), the most important feature by far is that it has FOUR of all the very small twist bits so when one breaks... well, so what? (think about it - when they run low, you can re stock, but never have to carry the restock box around with you)
The second most important feature is that it actually has storage space for other bits on the outside of the box. These two tiny trays could be much bitgger but are just big enough to put your loose bit-holders with bits in and as many other bits as you like (pozi/flat-head/torx etc.) And actually there is space to fling larger items in the main compartments without deforming the case when it's closed.
The idea is that you can still go out and buy better quality bits and bring them along in the same case, or scrap the cheap ones and replace. But actually the bits aren't bad, well, most of them... The gold HSS bits are fantastic! And the screw guage a luxury - metal too! Hole saws are sharp and good for wood only at a guess, but the pilot bit needs re-grinding if you can be bothered. The flat bit extented bar is in need of some needle filing to make the bits fit into the hole - very cheaply made! But you should have a set of augers with you for all that anyway!
£50 in cheap also, considering the number of things included."
"This set apears good... lots of stuff but.... lots of bits are bent and out of line.. they are curved and make things hard work and its a shame... no idea why they are like this.. and this is my second set.... so yea give it ago but im dissapointed."
